About
Williamson Provincial Park is a 17-hectare provincial campground established in 1960, located on the south Valleyview shore of Sturgeon Lake, 17 km west of Valleyview. The park offers 69 sites. Activities permitted include camping, canoeing/kayaking, fishing, power boating, sailing, swimming, water skiing, and wind surfing. A beach is located north of the main campground. The campground closes for the season on September 28, with the last night of camping on September 27. Potable water is not available; non-potable water is available from campground taps for fire use only. Campers must bring their own drinking water.
