About
McLeod River Campground is located 23 km southeast of Hinton on the Robb Road within the McLeod River Provincial Recreation Area. The campground offers 51 unserviced sites available from May 1 to October 16, with some sites reservable until October 15. The facility is managed by West Fraser Mills-Fox Creek Development Association. Amenities include firepits, firewood, and pit/vault toilets. Water from the hand pump is not safe for consumption and should only be used for fires; visitors should bring their own drinking water. Walking trails and the McLeod River Silviculture Trail are available. The campground offers a camping fee discount for Alberta seniors.
