Pilot Bay Provincial Park is located near Kootenay Bay, British Columbia, and is accessible by road or water. The park features six tent sites and operates year-round from January to December. Visitors should be aware that this is a user-maintained facility, and no potable water is available, so visitors must pack out all waste. Recreational activities include swimming, canoeing, kayaking, windsurfing, and fishing for trout on Kootenay Lake. An extensive network of hiking trails is available throughout the park and along the Pilot Peninsula, including a path to the historic Pilot Bay lighthouse. Pets must be kept on a leash at all times while in the park.
