Payne Lake Provincial Recreation Area is a provincial campground located in Mountain View, Alberta. It offers scenic campsites situated along the southeast shore of Payne Lake. The campground operates year-round, accommodating campers looking to enjoy summer activities or winter experiences. Activities available include fishing, sailing, windsurfing, canoeing/kayaking, hiking, ice fishing, and power boating. The site is located 25 km west of Cardston on Hwy. 5 or 18 km east of Waterton Lakes National Park on Hwy 5. Towing is not permitted on Payne Lake.
