About

Whiteswan Lake Provincial Park is located 22km southeast of Canal Flats, British Columbia, within the Kootenay Ranges of the Rocky Mountains. The park features Whiteswan Lake, Alces Lake, and Lussier Hot Springs, located near the park entrance at the 17.5km marker on the Whiteswan forest service road. The park offers five lakeside or riverside campgrounds and three boat launches. Activities include fishing for rainbow trout in Whiteswan and Alces Lakes, canoeing, kayaking, and hiking the 8km north shore trail. Pets must be leashed and are not permitted in beach areas. No towing is allowed on the lakes, and power boats are prohibited on Alces Lake. Snowmobiles are allowed on Whiteswan Lake for winter fishery access only.
