About
Schoen Lake Provincial Park is located northwest of Campbell River in the Nimpkish Valley, 140km north of Campbell River on Vancouver Island. Access is via the gravel Davie Road, approximately 12km off Hwy 19, past Sayward. The park offers vehicle-accessible camping and is operated by Namgis First Nation. The campground is closed and the gate is locked from November 1 to March 31 due to potential slides and snow. Opportunities include wilderness hiking, backpacking, boating, fishing, swimming, and winter recreation like backcountry skiing and snowshoeing. Pets must be on a leash. Cycling is permitted on park roads.
