About

Exchamsiks River Provincial Park is west of Terrace, British Columbia, at the confluence of the Exchamsiks and Skeena Rivers. The park features a coastal Sitka spruce rainforest. A 2km loop nature trail with an easy grade allows hiking through an old-growth forest. Canoeing and kayaking are possible, with access to the Skeena and upper Exchamsiks Rivers, which also offer fishing opportunities. Pets must be on a leash. The park provides two day-use areas. One day-use area on the west side of the river has a paved boat launch, accessible when the road is snow-free. Camping is prohibited on the east side of the park. Day-use areas are open May 15 to October 1.
