Crimson Lake Provincial Park Campground

Provincial campground in Rocky Mountain House, Alberta, Canada.

About

Crimson Lake Provincial Park Campground is a provincial campground located in Rocky Mountain House, Alberta, with 160 sites available from May to September. Sites include options for tents and RVs, with electrical and water hookups, showers, and a dump station. Twin Lakes Island, within Crimson Lake Provincial Park, is currently inaccessible by foot due to the removal of its connecting boardwalk, effective August 24, 2026, until further notice. This affects Twin Lakes Campground shoreline access to the island. Visitors may still access the island via watercraft, but emergency response times may be delayed. The trail from Highway 11 to Twin Lakes Day Use Area is also partially flooded and not passable on foot.
