Jackfish Lake Provincial Recreation Area is located 50 km west of Rocky Mountain House on Hwy. 11, then 2 km north on an access road. This provincial campground on the lake's south shore offers a boat launch and pier for boating, canoeing, and fishing. The park is operated by Westward Bound Campgrounds. Nearby informal trails allow for off-site OHV riding and snowmobiling, though off-loading or operating OHVs within the park is prohibited. Cell service is available. Power boating has a 12 km/h speed limit. The park also includes a group use area.
