About
Point Grondine Park is owned and operated by the Wiikwemkoong Unceded Territory as a backcountry wilderness park. The park encompasses over 18,000 acres of natural wilderness, old growth pine forest, and river vistas. It offers hiking trails, canoe routes, and camping options. Campers can choose from drive-in sites, backcountry campsites, and an Eco Cabin. The park features the Amik Zii-Bii Interpretive trail, Wemtagoosh Falls overnight loop, and ancient canoe routes connecting to six interior lakes, Collins Inlet, Georgian Bay, and Phillip Edward Island. Cultural tours and nature heritage education programs are also available.
