Peppers Lake Equestrian Campground in Nordegg, Alberta, is located 84 km southeast of Nordegg off Highway 734. This is a self-maintained group use area operated by the Friends of the Eastern Slopes Association. Campers are encouraged to purchase an annual membership, as a nightly fee is not charged. The site is user-maintained, and garbage receptacles, toilet paper, and hand sanitizer are not provided. Visitors should bring firewood, drinking water, and a map. Prohibited activities include off-loading or operating off-highway vehicles inside the park. Peppers Lake Staging Provincial Recreation Area for equestrian staging is located 2 km away. Activities include camping, canoeing/kayaking (electric motors only), fishing, hiking, and horseback riding on informal trails.
