Sowchea Bay Provincial Park
Provincial campground in Fort St. James, British Columbia, Canada.
About
Sowchea Bay Provincial Park is located 20km west of Fort St. James, British Columbia, along Stuart Lake. The campground, formerly a forestry campsite, features sites with the majority right next to the water. A single-lane gravel boat launch with limited parking is available. Activities include hiking, swimming, canoeing, kayaking, fishing, cycling, waterskiing, and windsurfing. Pets must be on a leash. The park does not have a day-use area. Larger RVs may have difficulty maneuvering due to the non-standard site layout. The park operates from May to September.
