About
Juan de Fuca Provincial Park is on the west coast of southern Vancouver Island, along the Strait of Juan de Fuca. The park offers views of roaring surf and includes the Juan de Fuca Marine Trail. The China Beach area has a campground in a vehicle-accessible forested area, about 1 km east of the Juan de Fuca East trailhead. Trails connect the campground to China Beach and Second Beach. This provincial campground operates year-round and offers tent sites. Swimming and scuba diving are not recommended due to rough surf, rogue waves, high tides, storms, and strong currents. Harvesting shellfish and other marine life is illegal.
