Pine Grove Provincial Recreation Area is located 30 km east of Canmore, accessible via Highway 1, Highway 40, and Highway 68 near Cochrane, Alberta. This provincial campground features two group use areas equipped with cook shelters and charcoal barbeques. Situated along Jumpingpound Creek, the site serves as a location for fishing, paddling, hiking, and biking. The Jumpingpound Loop Trail passes through the park, connecting to neighboring provincial recreation areas. A Kananaskis Conservation Pass is required for vehicle parking within the facility. The campground is operated by Cedar & Spruce Campgrounds. Visitors are advised to consult the Alberta Guide to Sportfishing Regulations regarding local fishing opportunities.
