About
Little Elbow Provincial Recreation Area is located about 30 km west of Bragg Creek along Highway 66, which closes annually from December 1 to May 15. A Kananaskis Conservation Pass is required for parking. This provincial recreation area serves as a basecamp for hikers, mountain bikers, and equestrians, with numerous trails available, including the Little Elbow Trail. The two campgrounds offer spacious, treed sites and walk-in tenting options, plus an equestrian camping area. Visitors can fish in the Little Elbow River or picnic at Forgetmenot Pond. Activities like canoeing and geocaching are also permitted.
