About
Crescent Falls Provincial Recreation Area is a provincial campground located 22 km west of Nordegg, Alberta, on Highway 11, then 6 km north on a gravel access road. The campground offers 9 walk-in tent sites and 21 RV campsites, and it is operated by Westward Bound Campgrounds. The park features newly renovated viewing platforms at the day use area to safely view the waterfalls. The day use area has an 800-meter trail with a 66-meter elevation gain leading to the platforms. Activities include hiking the 3 km Bighorn Canyon Trail and equestrian use via the 1 km Bighorn Meadows Equestrian Access Trail.
