Woss Lake Provincial Park

About

Woss Lake Provincial Park is a rugged, undeveloped park located on northern Vancouver Island, south of Woss and north of Zeballos. Access is generally by boat from the north end of Woss Lake, with walk-in access possible from logging roads. The park includes the southern portion of Woss Lake, steep forested slopes, and permanent snowfields of Rugged Mountain. There are few developed facilities, but a few wooden tent pads, a composting toilet, and a shelter are available at the south end of the lake, installed by the Namgis First Nation. Activities include camping, fishing, canoeing, backcountry hiking, skiing, mountaineering, and hunting.
