Woss Lake Provincial Park

About

Woss Lake Provincial Park is located on northern Vancouver Island, south of Woss and north of Zeballos. This rugged, undeveloped wilderness park features the southern portion of Woss Lake and forested slopes, including permanent snowfields of Rugged Mountain. There are few developed facilities, but wooden tent pads, a composting toilet, and a shelter are available at the south end of the lake, installed by the Namgis First Nation. The park is accessed generally by boat from the north end of Woss Lake, with some walk-in access possible from logging roads. Activities include backcountry hiking, skiing, mountaineering, camping, fishing, and hunting. There are no recreation facilities.
