About

Amogla Camp in Ontario was bought by the current owner's parents in late 1979. It was first operated by the family starting in summer 1981, initially offering 8 cottages for rent. None of these original cottages had indoor plumbing. New cottages were built from 1981 onwards, with the first two completed by late 1982 and first rented in 1983. Construction continued on other cottages throughout the 1980s, introducing indoor plumbing and different designs. The camp ceased operation for tourists in 2006.
