About
Black Nugget Lake Campground is located in Beaver County, central Alberta, between Tofield and Ryley, approximately 60 minutes east of Edmonton. The campground offers 90 diverse sites, including full-service, non-serviced, tent, and group sites. Facilities include upgraded washrooms, showers, a concession, and a revamped dump station. Activities available include kayaking, birdwatching, fishing for rainbow and tiger trout, and hiking. Day-use areas are provided for picnicking. Black Nugget Lake Campground is pet-friendly and operates seasonally from May 14 through September 28. Reservations require a minimum two-day stay, extending to three days on long weekends. Seasonal powered sites are available from May 14 to September 28.
