Broughton Archipelago Marine Provincial Park

Provincial campground in Port McNeil, British Columbia, Canada.

About

Broughton Archipelago Marine Provincial Park is located approximately 30 kilometres east of Port McNeill, British Columbia. As the largest marine park in British Columbia, it consists of dozens of undeveloped islands and islets accessible only by boat. The park serves as a destination for kayaking, canoeing, and saltwater fishing. Camping is permitted at various locations throughout the archipelago, though visitors must follow "Leave No Trace" ethics. There are no developed trails, and fresh water is not available, requiring visitors to carry their own supplies. Boaters must navigate using nautical charts and exercise caution regarding tide changes, heavy fog, and sudden weather shifts. Pets must be kept on a leash and are prohibited from beach areas.
