Shelter Point Regional Campground is located on the west shores of Texada Island in Gillies Bay, British Columbia. Operated by the qathet Regional District, this beach-front park includes two sections: the main campground and the Bella Maria campground. The property accommodates visitors with tent sites and RV sites. Camping is available year-round, although many park facilities operate only during the summer season. Onsite caretakers are present to assist visitors, and the park entrance gate is locked nightly and reopened early each morning. The campground is reached by a ferry from Powell River to Blubber Bay, followed by a drive south along Gillies Bay Road.
