Established in 1967, the park encompasses 65.69 hectares and offers camping for both RVs and tents. It is situated on the southern shore of Georgian Bay, featuring shale formations that contain 450 million-year-old fossils. The flat rock shoreline is noted for launching small watercraft and provides sunset views. A picnic shelter is available for reservations. The park does not offer backcountry, group, seasonal, or walk-in campsites, nor amenities like playgrounds, laundromats, or rental equipment.
