About
Lockhart Beach Provincial Park Campground is located 40km north of Creston on Highway 3A, or 19km south of Crawford Bay on Highway 3A, on the east side of Kootenay Lake. This small park provides public camping along the south arm of Kootenay Lake. The park offers an 18-site campground and a day-use area near a sand and fine gravel beach. Swimming, canoeing, kayaking, and fishing are available in Kootenay Lake. Pets must be on a leash and are not allowed in beach areas. The operating season on file is May to September.
