About
Big Berland Campground is located in the Big Berland Provincial Recreation Area near Hinton, Alberta. Situated in a mature spruce area on the Big Berland River, the site features 18 un-serviced campsites. Nine sites are available by reservation, and nine sites are provided on a first-come, first-serve basis. Facilities include two toilets and a day-use area with two picnic sites. Fishing is permitted in the river. Horses are not allowed within the campground, although a user-maintained equestrian staging area is located nearby with access to Willmore Wilderness Park. Fees are $20 per night, with a $15 rate available for seniors and an additional $10 reservation fee.
