Writing-on-Stone Provincial Park Campground is located in Aden, Alberta. A septic system replacement will close the Writing-on-Stone Campground and group use areas from October 5 to November 22, 2026. Separately, a new walk-in campground will be constructed southeast of Coffin Bridge, adjacent to the hand boat launch on the Milk River. This new campground is planned to include 12 walk-in campsites, an access trail, and a boat-trailer parking area. Construction for the new campground is scheduled from September to November 2026, with minor work continuing in 2027.
