About
McLeod River Provincial Recreation Area is located 23 km southeast of Hinton on the Robb Road. This provincial recreation area provides camping, group use, and a day use area with fire pits and picnic tables. Visitors can engage in activities such as canoeing/kayaking, fishing, front country hiking, fat biking, and mountain biking/cycling. Walking trails and the McLeod River Silviculture Trail are present along the riverbank. Camping reservations can be made by phoning 780-865-2154. The facility operator is West Fraser Mills-Fox Creek Development Association.
