About
Kootenay National Park offers frontcountry and backcountry camping. The park features three frontcountry campgrounds: Redstreak, Marble Canyon, and McLeod Meadows. Redstreak Campground provides 3-way hookups, electricity, and unserviced sites, along with oTENTik units. Marble Canyon and McLeod Meadows offer unserviced sites. All three campgrounds have fire pits and hot showers. Redstreak and Marble Canyon have flush toilets, while McLeod Meadows does not. Redstreak is open from April 30 to October 11, Marble Canyon from June 25 to September 7, and McLeod Meadows from June 11 to September 14. Group camping is available at Crook's Meadow from late June to early September. Reservations are strongly recommended, especially during peak season.
