Provincial campground in Port Hardy, British Columbia, Canada.

About

Raft Cove Provincial Park is located 65km southwest of Port Hardy, British Columbia, on the northwest coast of Vancouver Island. This undeveloped, rustic provincial park offers wilderness camping on its long crescent-shaped sandy beach. Access to the beach from the road is via a rugged 2 km unmaintained trail. The park features a wild coastal environment, attracting wilderness adventurers and backpackers. Visitors should bring drinking water as surface water is extremely limited and streams require treatment. Raft Cove is exposed to Pacific weather systems and is popular for surfing, fishing, and hiking. Active logging roads provide access to the park.
