Provincial campground in Parksville, British Columbia, Canada.

About

Rathtrevor Beach Provincial Park is located in Parksville, British Columbia. This park offers campsites nestled among trees, all within a five-minute walk of the 2 km beach. The ocean recedes almost a kilometre at low tide, and the warmed water is suitable for swimming when the tide returns. The park has 5.5 km of easy walking trails, most of which are wheelchair accessible, meandering along the beach and through mature forests. A large day-use and picnicking area is also available. Bird watching, including migrating Brant geese from February to April, is a popular activity. Camping is available year-round, with reservations required during summer.
