Cavan Lake Recreational Campground is located 23 km southeast of Medicine Hat in Dunmore, Alberta. This private campground operates during the spring, summer, and fall. The facility features 78 sites suitable for both RVs and tents, 60 of which provide electrical hookups. Each campsite is equipped with a fire pit, and firewood is provided on-site. Visitors have access to a playground and horseshoe pits. Recreational activities include fishing for rainbow trout, boating, and using the one-kilometre walking loop near the artificial lake. On-site water is not potable, so campers are required to bring their own drinking water.
