Johnson Park Campground is located Southeast of Valleyview, Alberta, at the corner of Highway 665 and Little Smoky Road. It offers 20 non-serviced campsites on a first-come, first-serve basis, each with picnic tables and firepits. Two accessible outhouses and garbage/recycling containments are available. A camping fee of $25.00 per night applies, payable by cash or cheque. Camping is seasonal, typically from before the May Long Weekend until Thanksgiving. The park also features 7 day-use sites with fire pits and picnic tables, and developed walking trails bordering the Goose River. A playground and horseshoe pits are present. Day-use is available year-round, with trails maintained for cross-country skiing or snowshoeing in winter.
