Bighorn Campground is located near the Eastern boundaries of the Ya Ha Tinda Ranch, near the Red Deer River in Alberta. This user-maintained campground provides a base for those wishing to fish, hike, or use equestrian trails in the area. Staging and camping are permitted within the campground perimeter. It features vault toilets, but toilet paper and hand sanitizer are not provided. Campers must pack out all garbage as receptacles are not available. All food and attractants must be secured in hard-walled trailers or vehicles to deter wildlife. The campground is unserviced.
