Sidrabene in Burlington, Ontario, is a Latvian recreation and retreat centre established in 1953 on a 40-acre property on the banks of Bronte Creek. It was founded by members of St. Andrew’s Ev. Lutheran Latvian congregation. The centre offers a children's camp that runs every summer for four weeks, accepting children aged 4-14, with a CIT program for 14-16 year olds. Cottages are available for members of St. Andrew’s and other Latvian Lutheran churches. Facilities can be rented for events such as weddings and birthdays.
