About
Fish Lake Provincial Recreation Area is located 6 km west of Nordegg on Highway 11, then 2 km south on a gravel access road. This provincial recreation area offers year-round recreation opportunities and includes a campground, group use area, and day use area. The camp store sells firewood, snacks, and basic camping supplies. Activities include canoeing, kayaking, fishing for stocked rainbow trout with electric motors only, hiking, mountain biking, swimming, cross-country skiing, horseshoes, ice fishing, and geocaching. Off-highway vehicles are prohibited from off-loading or operating inside the park but can access nearby trails.
