Chinook Provincial Recreation Area in Coleman, Alberta, offers year-round recreation. The provincial campground features Chinook Campground with well-treed, fully reservable sites across four loops, including a tenting loop. Lakeside recreation on Chinook Lake includes paddling, swimming, and fishing. The area also provides hiking and mountain biking trails. In winter, visitors can use groomed cross-country ski and snowshoe trails. Summer access is from May 1 to November 30. The campground is 8 km west of Crowsnest Pass off Highway 3.
