About
J.T. Cheeseman Provincial Park is a provincial campground located in Cape Ray, Newfoundland and Labrador, ten kilometers from the Marine Atlantic ferry terminal in Channel-Port aux Basques. The park offers 75 campsites, including 22 with 15, 30, and 50 amp electrical service. Each campsite includes a picnic table and fireplace, with most accommodating larger RVs. Amenities such as washrooms, showers, laundry facilities, a dump station, and Wi-Fi are available. Activities include angling, bicycling on five kilometers of gravel roads, dog walking, and hiking. Generator use is permitted from 8:00 am to 11:00 pm. The park operates from May to October.
