Carstairs Municipal Campground is located on the east edge of Carstairs, at the corner of Centre Street and Highway 2A, near the 18-hole Carstairs Golf Course. It operates from May 11 to October 13, 2026. The campground offers 28 power hookup sites (15A and 30A), and also has non-powered sites. Amenities include wheelchair accessible washrooms, free WiFi, and a sewage dump station ($5.00 fee). Showers are available for $1.00 (on timer), and firewood costs $10.00 per wheelbarrow load. Powered sites are $35 Cdn/night, and non-powered sites are $28 Cdn/night (GST included). Sites are available on a first-come, first-serve basis, with no reservations taken.
