About
Snow Creek Provincial Recreation Area is located 15 km west of Nordegg, just off Highway 11. Accessed via a 2 km gravel road, the park includes a Group Use Area and a Day Use Staging Area. It provides direct access to a trail network outside park boundaries for mountain biking, hiking, walking, and trail running. Activities within the park include cross country skiing, fishing, and front-country hiking. Electric bicycles are permitted. Snowmobiling is possible on informal trails in the vicinity, but off-loading within the campground and travel from campsites is prohibited. The facility operator is Westward Bound Campgrounds.
