Elk Lakes Provincial Park is located 104 kilometres north of Sparwood, British Columbia. This provincial campground operates from June 15 to October 31 and offers 20 sites. The park is a wilderness area that provides tent sites and access to the Elk Lakes Cabin, which can be reserved through the Alpine Club of Canada. Facilities are limited, and no potable water is available; visitors must treat all water from streams. The park does not provide supplies, equipment, or public communications. While activities such as hiking, fishing, and non-motorized boating are available, the park prohibits all motorized activities. Dogs must be kept on a leash or under control at all times throughout the park.
