Saltery Bay Provincial Park is located 27 km south of Powell River, British Columbia, 1 km north of the Saltery Bay ferry terminal on Hwy 101. The park offers a campground and a day-use area. The campground is situated in lush forests at Mermaid Cove. Facilities include a diver change house, cold showers, and accessible change room, shower, and toilet. Generator use is permitted from 9am-11am and 6pm-8pm. The Mermaid Cove Trail, an easy 1 km hike, starts near the campground entrance. Swimming, ocean canoeing/kayaking, tidal fishing, and scuba diving are available. Pets must be on leash and are not allowed in beach areas. The operating season is April to October.
