About
Thompson Creek Provincial Recreation Area is located 83 km southwest of Nordegg, Alberta, along Highway 11, and 10 km east of Saskatchewan River Crossing. This provincial recreation area offers over 50 well-treed campsites on the banks of the North Saskatchewan River. Sites are available on a first-come, first-serve or reservable basis. Activities include camping, fishing, hiking (front country), interpretive programs, mountain biking/cycling, and wildlife viewing. The facility operator is Westward Bound Campgrounds.
