About

Valens Lake Conservation Area offers camping with 225 campsites, including 125 with electrical and water hookups. Six group areas and walk-in sites are also available, with walk-in sites accessible on foot only. Camping is available year-round; sites can be reserved from April 1 to October 31, and are first-come, first-served from November 1 to March 31. Water at serviced sites is available from the May long weekend to Thanksgiving. The park also features Drumlin Cabins, offering accommodation for 1-6 people, each equipped with a propane BBQ, kitchenette, flush toilet washroom, fire pit, and electric heating. Visitors can explore Valens Lake by kayak, canoe, row boat, or stand-up paddleboard, and enjoy 10 kilometres of trails, a wetland boardwalk, and a sandy beach for swimming. Gasoline motors are not permitted on the lake.
