About
Shunda Viewpoint Provincial Recreation Area is located near Nordegg, Alberta, 26 km east of Nordegg and 5 km north on an access road off Highway 11. The park is only open for reservation holders at the group use area, which accommodates 15 units. It offers views of the Brazeau Range and North Saskatchewan River Valley. Campers can enjoy the view from two benches. While off-highway vehicle (OHV) trails are available offsite, OHV use, off-loading, or operating within the park is strictly prohibited. The facility operator is Westward Bound Campgrounds.
