About

Top of the World Provincial Park is located in the Kootenay Ranges of the Rocky Mountains, 48 km north-east of Kimberley, British Columbia. This backcountry park is at an elevation exceeding 2,200 m, with Mount Morro marking the highest point at 2,912 m. It features a 16-site lakeside campground at Fish Lake, accessible via an easy, well-maintained trail. A public cabin can also accommodate 14 to 18 people. Camping and hiking are popular, along with swimming and fishing in Fish Lake. Cross-country skiing and ice fishing are activities in winter. The park is non-motorized, and no public communications are available. Access is via forest service roads, normally passable from late May to late October.
