About
Thompson Creek Campground is located along Highway 11, 83 km southwest of Nordegg and 10 km east of Saskatchewan River Crossing, within the Thompson Creek Provincial Recreation Area in Alberta. The campground is situated on the banks of the North Saskatchewan River and has over 50 well-treed campsites. Sites are available on a first-come, first-serve basis or can be reserved. The facility operator is Westward Bound Campgrounds. Activities at the recreation area include camping, fishing, hiking, interpretive programs, mountain biking, and wildlife viewing.
