About
Forest Rose Campground is located along the east side of Williams Creek off Bowron Lake Road, 2 km north of the Barkerville Welcome Centre in British Columbia. Managed by the Barkerville Heritage Trust, this campground operates from mid-May to mid-September. The facility features 56 campsites that accommodate trailers and RVs, offering both reservable and first-come, first-served options. Amenities include electrical hookups, a playground, bear-proof waste bins, and a washroom building equipped with flush toilets, potable water, and coin-operated showers. Each site provides a picnic table and campfire ring. Guests can access the nearby Barkerville Historic Town and Park via a walking path or the adjacent highway.
