About

Parc Beauchemin, located in Calgary, Alberta, officially opened in the summer of 1972. La Société franco-canadienne de Calgary acquired a 19-acre forested plot for the park in 1970. This land was intended as a meeting place for Francophones. Clearing of the land began in 1971. Due to floods in 2007 and 2013, the park's acreage was reduced to 16 acres. The site includes Three Point Creek. Parc Beauchemin is a private campground with RV sites available.
